Iron Code Engineering Company Ltd. is a group of experienced controls engineers, technicians, and electricians with a wide variety of formal technical training on top of their many years experience with machinery automation and HMI’s.
Iron Code has a wide variety of controls experience especially in the forest industry.
We are proud of our reputation for smooth start-ups which can be attributed to our diverse experience with machinery, projects and communications throughout projects.

Iron Code specializes in a wide variety of industrial machinery automation products, integrated controls and VFD packages, and HMI’s.
Primarily focusing on the high speed lumber industry, Iron Code’s staff of experienced qualified service professionals offer controls and drive packages and start-up services to ensure the success of every project.
Iron Code will provide help in the design of your system, information during the project development process, quick equipment start-ups, and long term support after the project is complete.
Controls Packages
Iron Code's controls packages revolve around the Allen Bradley lines of programmable controllers. Any system small or large, requiring simple or complex control, can be designed to suite your needs.
Each system comes with documentation including I/O lists, complete drawing sets and user manuals.
Drive Packages
Iron Code is a supplier of Allen Bradley drive packages. Standard VFD packages can be of the various Allen Bradley platforms and product lines.
Where required, drive bundles can be supplied for CIP motion or servo control applications.
HMI Offerings
Iron Code offers HMIs on a few different platforms including:
- Factory Talk View SE
- Factory Talk View ME
- iPad Machine Control
Vision Systems
Iron Code has experience with the more popular vision systems on the market including IFM sensors, Gocator 3D cameras, and Cognex cameras.
Stick Scanners
Maximizes stacker uptime with industry leading 3D stick scanning technology:
- Configurable detection of most common faults including crook, bow, snipe, length, and width variation.
- Remove only the sticks that will cause issues to maximize uptime, while minimizing waste.
- Reporting system included.
